Happy new year! Hope everyone had a wonderful and sparkly new year celebrations.
We're excited to be back in the studio and designing more one-of-a-kind rings for our clients.
We had the absolute pleasure of creating a 1.5ct pear shape diamond engagement ring for our bride-to-be, Jessica.
This month's custom ring is designed with a horseshoe halo and a half set diamond band in 18ct white gold.
Our clients, Laurence and Jessica share the details of their dreamy engagement story and a little about their process in creating Jessica's engagement ring.

How did you both meet?
Jess and I work together, so that’s how we met!
For months I kept bugging her and persisting week in and week out for a drink or dinner after work, she finally said yes and the rest is history!
Share with us your engagement story.
The engagement was very low key, I really wanted to take Jess by surprise!
We went out for dinner on a Friday night after work - Whilst we were at dinner I arranged for a good mate and his fiancé to sneak into our house and set up some flowers, photos and candles down the hallway. It looked beautiful. When we got home, Jess was completely shocked and very giggly. I got down on one knee, asked her to marry me and she said yes!
Tell us all the details about your ring, what was the process like for you, what are your favourite aspects of the ring?
When I first met Cass I really had no idea what to look for in a diamond. I showed her some pictures of pear-shaped rings that I knew Jess liked and she was so helpful right from the beginning.
I felt completely at ease with the entire process and Cass ended up designing and making an absolutely beautiful pear-shaped diamond ring with a halo.
The design of the floating centre diamond with a thin/delicate band and halo were perfect!
Do you have any wedding plans?
No wedding plans or date just yet! We will eventually start planning something small and outdoors. We’re very excited to celebrate with all our close family and friends.
