Meet The CM Team

Our team has grown so much within a year.

In addition to Adelaide, we have opened up our Melbourne studio in trendy Prahran with two new jewellery consultants.

Our team currently consists of six amazing women including the designer herself, Cassandra Mamone.

We would like you to get to know our team a little bit better.

DESIGNER & OWNER

What's your favourite piece?

My Double Luxury Earcuff and my Ruby Diamond Band set in rose gold.

Fave coffee spot?

In Adelaide, Brown Charlie Co. on Port Rd and in Melbourne, Oscar Cooper on Greville St near our studio.

On weekends I like to...

Have beach walks and coffee with girlfriends and dinners out. I can't wait to do it again!

Favourite thing about Adelaide?

Adelaide has the most beautiful beaches and I love living as a Westsider and that I am within walking distance to the beach.

My family and friends are my favourite part of the city.

Next holiday?

I have a few places! Mexico, South of France or the Italian Alps.

What's your jewellery style?

I have my favourite key pieces that I wear every day.

I don't take off my Sei Earrings and you'll always find me wearing my rose gold Ruby Diamond ring.

I like my key pieces to make a statement yet be quite minimal.

Morning ritual?

Get up, make hot water with lemon, jump in the shower, get dressed and do my makeup, eat some brekkie and head out the door.

What's your favourite Cassandra Mamone piece? What CM jewel is on your wish list?

How can one possibly pick a favourite? I have a long list of pieces that I'm definitely wishing for!

But definitely a memory ring for everyday wear would be my next purchase.

Fave coffee spot...

Henley Beach, or anywhere where there are a beach and sunshine!

On weekends I like to...

Spend time with my little family. We do like getting away for the weekends quite a bit with either friends or family.

Next holiday?

Maldives (again! I've been twice but I want to go back Pronto!)

My jewellery style is...

Modern, simple, understated.

Do you own a Cassandra Mamone piece? Tell us about it.

Yes I own multiple, and I can't say I have a preference for one specific piece, I love them all!

My rose gold slider Bar Necklace is perfect for everyday wear, and I'm in LOVE with my Morganite ring my husband had made for my 40th which is more of a dress piece for special occasions.

Favourite thing about Adelaide?

The beaches - and that I live only 5 minutes away! Also that all my family/friends live here, and that everything is close enough to get to. Oh yeah, and the food - definitely the food options!

What's your favourite Cassandra Mamone piece? What CM jewellery is on your wish list?

There are so many! I love the Birthstone Ring and the Baguette Diamond Ring - I would like to add another gold ring to stack with my Memory Ring, maybe the Perlina Band or the Fine Weave Ring.

Anything with diamonds is on my CM wish list!

Fave coffee spot?

Any spot around Semaphore is a good spot - but I love exploring different coffee shops in different suburbs. One of my faves is Abbotts and Kinney in Croydon.

Next holiday?

Japan is definitely on top of my list! I would also love to go back to Malaysia to visit my family again.

Do you own a Cassandra Mamone piece? Tell us about it.

Yes, I do! I got myself a 9ct yellow gold Memory ring in 2mm half-round with my husband's initials engraved on the ring.

I wanted a ring that I can wear every day and I never take it off.

Favourite thing about Adelaide?

I love that we have the option of going to the beach or going up to the hills.

There are so many places to see and visit and everything is so close to each other.

What's your favourite Cassandra Mamone piece? What CM jewellery is on your wish list?

I love a lot of the pieces from Cass's 'Fine Collection', particularly the Clarity Ring and Wisdom Earrings.

However, since I'm getting married soon, a Cassandra Mamone diamond wedding band is definitely on the top of my wish list!

Fave coffee spot?

There are some really great places near where I live, like Froth and Fodder and Incognito Cafe just off Anzac Highway.

I also love going for coffee and brunch in Brighton.

Next holiday?

When we can travel again I'd love to visit South America, or somewhere in Europe I haven't been yet like Greece!

What's your jewellery style?

Since getting my yellow gold engagement ring I'm all about yellow gold, and generally like simple and understated jewellery for everyday wear (but for events I'll always put on some statement earrings!)

Do you own a Cassandra Mamone piece? Tell us all about it.

I am very lucky to own a Cassandra Mamone engagement ring! My fiancé very sneakily organised it for me last year.

It features a stunning D-colour oval diamond with a diamond halo on an 18ct yellow gold knife-edge band.

I absolutely adore it!

Favourite thing about Adelaide?

Adelaide is small but I feel there's always something to do, or somewhere to visit.

We're incredibly lucky to have some of the world's most amazing wine regions just a short drive away, so I love that I can pop up to McLaren Vale or the Barossa Valley for the weekend!

What's your favourite Cassandra Mamone piece? What CM jewellery is on your wish list?

My favourite piece is the Tres Pedras ring because literally - "When one diamond isn't enough, go for three"

Fave coffee spot?

Wherever I am at the time - Melbourne has great coffee!

Next holiday?

Europe!! I haven't been in 4 years - the Mediterranean Sea is calling my name...

Do you own a Cassandra Mamone piece? Tell us about it.

Yes! In 2013 my mum had a ring designed and made by Cassandra for my 21st birthday.

It is a wideband sterling silver ring with one large mabe pearl, then a halo of pavé aquamarines around the pearl.

The pearl is my birthstone, and the aquamarine is my Mums! I wanted something sentimental, and that wouldn't date. Cass nailed it!

Favourite thing about Melbourne?

Everything! The fact that you can go out at any time of the day or night, there's always something to do, experience new things, meet new people and always have a good time.
