Wedding Celebrations: Juliana and Michael

We welcome the month of love with a stunning wedding celebration.

We first featured Juliana and Michael on our blog in 2017 for their custom engagement piece. Fast forward a year later, they married in an intimate church wedding and held a picturesque reception in the Adelaide Hills.

We had the pleasure of designing a stunning Oval engagement ring with a marquise pattern halo for Juliana, inspired by our Emerald Leaf Ring.

This time around we designed a rose gold band with round diamonds and marquise detail which complimented Juliana's engagement ring perfectly. For Michael, we kept it classic with a yellow gold wedding band.

Juliana and Michael have shared their nuptials with us and gave us a sneak peek of their dreamy wedding photos. We are head over heels for their wedding photos and you will too. Congratulations Juliana & Michael!

Where & when did you get married - tell us a little bit about your special day?

Michael and I got married on the 27th of October 2018. Our ceremony was held at St Patrick's Church in the city.

This was followed by canapés and a sit-down dinner at the stunning Adelaide Hill's property, Mandalay House and Garden.

The owner, Deb Schultz, has created something truly special in Mandalay and we could not have imagined a more magical setting to celebrate our marriage in.

We worked with wonderful vendors and individuals to bring to life a special evening shared with our loved ones.

Tell us about your wedding rings. What was the process like for you?

After working with Cassandra on my engagement ring, we were excited to have the opportunity to create with her again.

Michael chose a classic yellow gold band for his wedding ring.

While I had initially selected one of Cassandra's gorgeous rings as my wedding band, I recall feeling like it wasn't quite right.

I asked her to design a band that would complement my engagement ring perfectly.

The design that Cassandra came up with was stunning. It incorporated rose gold, marquise diamonds and a milgrain edge, all of which were part of my engagement ring.

The two bands look incredible together!

What was your favourite part of the wedding day? Any particular highlights?

We have so many wonderful memories of our wedding day so it is hard to select a favourite!

For us, the ceremony itself was incredibly special.

Not only was it the essence of the day but it was very moving - from the reading to the beautiful music, to the involvement of our family and friends.

Sitting amongst our families during the Reception dinner, instead of our own table, was also very memorable.

Oh, and my Greta Kate dress! I remember feeling so amazing in it all day.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We split our time between luxury lodge Pretty Beach House and its sister property Bells at Kildare, both on the central coast of New South Wales.
Our days were spent eating, reading by the pool, taking a walk through the bush to a secluded beach or learning more about the fascinating stuff.
It was a wonderfully relaxing and special time together.
Receiving sneak peeks of our wedding photos from our hilariously creative photographer, Tomek Celarek, made it all the more amazing!

Off to their honeymoon in New South Wales.

Thank you for sharing your love story with us!
