Engagement Feature: Ryan & Kristen

This month's custom piece is a sparkly one.

We had the pleasure of customising one of our most popular collection pieces, the stunning Tante Amore ring.

Made for our client Ryan in 18ct rose gold for him to propose with.

This ring features a colourless D oval diamond with a fine diamond halo and band.

Ryan and Kristen's sweet engagement in Kangaroo Island has us in love with their love story.

How did you both meet? 

Kristen and I actually met during a night out with mutual friends in the city.

 

Share with us your engagement story. 

 

I organised a secret weekend trip away over on Kangaroo Island as we both had never been there.

We stayed in the amazing Lifetime Retreats Cliff House which overlooks Snelling Beach.

On the day of the proposal, we went out on quad bikes and toured remote wilderness and beaches. Then, after a quick stop at the retreat, we went to the stunning Fig Tree Restaurant.

The owner was kind enough to set up our very own table once everyone had left, with a fruit platter, wine, candles and beautiful background music.

I wanted the moment to be unique and the Fig Tree restaurant really came up with the goods. I actually had to pop the question twice to Kristen, as she was caught up in the moment but she eventually said Yes!

  

 

 

 

What drew you to Cassandra Mamone pieces?

The quality and knowledge Cassandra has shown with her work gave me the confidence to choose her over the other jewellers that I had looked at.

 

Tell us all about the details of your ring, what was the process like for you, what are your favourite aspects of the piece?  

The ring is a custom designed 18ct rose gold Tante Amore engagement ring, I came into the shop to have a chat and throw around some ideas and Cassandra was able to design this amazing ring.

She really made the entire process easy and stress-free that is for sure. The best aspect of the ring for me was when Cassandra first brought it out and I opened the box to the amazing sparkle of the diamonds.

I knew it would be a winner as soon as I had seen it.

  

 

 

 

 

Do you have any wedding plans yet? 

Since coming back from Kangaroo Island we have been busy planning the wedding and have already booked a date for the beginning of December 2018.
