Wedding Celebrations: Georgia & Dylan
We first introduced you to Georgia and Dylan back in 2018 when we featured their engagement.
Georgia was proposed with our Summer Romance ring designed as part of California Sunset collection.
To match her engagement ring, Georgia chose a diamond band with a milgrain edge.
Both Georgia and Dylan were extremely lucky that they got to celebrate their wedding just before the restrictions came into effect.
Their beautiful wedding was held in picturesque Nairne.
We caught up with the lovebirds as they share with us their magical day.
WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED – TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY?
Our wedding was on Saturday 14th of March at Howard Vineyard, Nairne.
Thankfully our wedding was held just in time before all of the Covid19 restrictions came into effect.
We were so lucky to have absolutely beautiful weather and our day was simply perfect.
We were surrounded by our closest friends and family, who enjoyed the stunning venue, delicious food & wine and then we all danced the night away!

WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?
Dylan and I didn’t hesitate in deciding to have our wedding bands made by Cassandra since she beautifully created my engagement ring.
Dylan had seen something already that he liked so we showed Cassandra a photo and he went with a white gold band with an emery finish.
My engagement band is plain and I wanted to have diamonds on my wedding band along with the milgrain edge to match.
Cassandra created the most stunning wedding band and it really compliments my engagement ring.
We both couldn’t be happier with our rings and it was really important to have something designed that we loved because we will wear them forever and they have so much meaning to us.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?
Dylan and I chose to write our own wedding vows.
It was something that we felt was important to both of us and added an element of surprise on the day.
If you ask Dylan, one of his favourite parts of the day was the anticipation of waiting for me to walk down the aisle.
I also really enjoyed spending some quality time with my beautiful bridesmaids and family during the morning as we got ready.
In particular, having my Mum helped me to get ready and enjoy those little moments together is something I will always cherish.
ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?
At the end of the night, our DJ played ‘Horses’ by Daryl Braithwaite and both Dylan & I ended up on the shoulders of our Bridal Party and we sang our hearts out as we looked around the room at all our wonderful friends and family who made our day truly unforgettable.
Our guests lined the exit & lit sparklers as we left, it was a really special way for us to say goodbye to everyone and thank them for coming.
We couldn’t have asked for much more than what we got, we wouldn’t change a thing and to us, it really was our fairytale.
WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR HONEYMOON?
We went to Palm Cove for three nights the week after our wedding.
We were really lucky given the circumstances that we managed to still sneak in a quick getaway before the borders closed in Australia due to Covid19.
It was a lovely time to relax together and reminisce on all the wonderful memories we had on our wedding day!
Thank you for sharing your magical day with us.
