Tayla and Adam both grew up in the Riverland but their love story didn't start until a night out back in 2016. Knowing that Tayla is a long-time lover of Cassandra Mamone rings, Adam alongside our design consultant designed a stunning solitaire Marquise engagement ring as Tayla's forever ring. HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?
We’ve known of one another for years having both grown up in the Riverland but didn’t meet properly until a night out at the Cumby back in 2016. Luckily a few months later we found ourselves both playing footy and netball for Walkerville and it was history from there!

ADAM: We were on a holiday to Tasmania over New Years and set off early to climb Cradle Mountain. After a few wrong turns (we won’t go into detail about who’s fault) and a few extra km’s, we finally got close to the top.
I proposed just off the track and i think her first words after saying yes was “oh my god is that a Cass?", so I knew I was in the good books!
I surprised her with an afternoon at the Cradle Mountain Lodge alpine spa and spent the night away from the van we had been travelling in.
WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE?
TAYLA: Like many girls I’m sure, I’ve been following and sharing CM designs with my best friend for months! I love the simple yet timeless designs, I couldn’t look past the marquise! I also love supporting a local designer right here in Adelaide!
TELL US ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR RING, WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?
ADAM: I roped in Tayla’s best friend who knew exactly what she wanted to come visit CM with me. I spoke to Kassie about my budget and she made the whole process for a guy who knows nothing about jewellery easy!
TAYLA: I’m a small person who doesn’t wear a lot of jewellery so the marquise is so simple and elegant which is perfect! I’ve recently been in to CM to have it resized with Kassie who’s shown me some beautiful wedding band options! I’m excited for her to help me find the perfect match!
DO YOU HAVE ANY WEDDING PLANS YET?
Still early days but currently venue hunting! We’re thinking Adelaide hills or Fleurieu Peninisula for an April 23 wedding!
