WEDDING FEATURE: SARAH & DANE

Sarah and Dane love story began 10 years ago when they met through mutual a friend. Dane proposed to Sarah on Christmas Day back in 2020 with the classic Oval Elegance ring with a knife edge band. Almost a year after getting engaged, Sarah and Dane tied the knot with an outdoor wedding at a beautiful winery. We asked the lovebirds to reminisce on their big day and share with us all the details.

WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY?

We were married on December 18 at Longview Winery. We got very lucky with the weather, it was 37C the day before and then raining the day after and we got around 29 degrees. We were also able to dance at our wedding which we are so thankful for.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

The process was very easy. We both like simple and I just wanted something to pair with my diamond but it’s also got a twist in the band which makes it just that little bit more special. Danes not a ring wearer but he does love wearing his. Just a plain silver ring.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

My favourite part was walking down the aisle and seeing Dane. Dane's favourite part was also the aisle!

ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

We had a smaller guest list so we didn’t spend so much time having to thank everyone. The dance floor went off as everybody was so keen after not dancing for so long! Just the whole day was a highlight, I don’t think you could wipe the smile off our faces!
