MY WEDDING DIARY #3: WE ARE GETTING MARRIED IN ITALY š®š¹āØ
Iāve always dreamed of having a beautiful intimate Italian wedding, where the sun sets and every one dances into the night, Charlie being the most amazing man agreed that he wants to be wherever I am adding that if itās my dream⦠well then itās his dream too.
With an international wedding comes the tricky part of making the marriage official, so after much chatting to friends and others that had done it- I was told to sign here in Australia and then celebrate in Italy ābut what date would we celebrate our anniversary then?" was my first thought.
Haha I guess bothā¦
On Friday, May 16th, Charlie and I were officially married in a small, intimate ceremony with our immediate family. It was a beautiful, private moment to mark the beginning of our life together. At first, we considered going straight to the registry but my Italian parents couldn't really comprehend that and felt we needed to do something to mark the occasion.Ā
We exchanged our rings and vows at the SAY I DO space at West Lakes (felt like home as I actually used to live in this building) and followed by a gorgeous family lunch by the sea.Ā
Iām excited to share more with you soonāour vision for the day, the actual location in Italy (do you have any guesses??⦠comment below)
Iām most excited for the day to see Charlieās face when he sees my wedding band for the first time.
Italy, here we come. š®š¹āØ
