HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

Chris has been close friends with my sister and brother-in-law for over 20 years. We first started chatting at a Christmas function 10 years ago, and we've been together ever since. 

WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE?

I've admired Cassandra's work for a long time and have always been obsessed with her pieces. Last year, Chris organised a special date day for us to explore a few places and get a feel for the different ring styles we both liked. We were lucky enough to secure an appointment with Cassandra Mamone, and the entire experience was incredible! Jemma made us feel completely at ease and answered all of our questions with such care. We left feeling so happy, and I secretly hoped Chris would choose Cassandra Mamone to create my dream engagement ring!

A couple of months ago, Chris asked my dad for his blessing to marry me, and what I find truly amazing is that he also asked my son, Jackson (his stepson), for his blessing too. On Christmas Day 2025, after opening presents with the kids, Jackson and Evie, I was finishing my hair in the bathroom when Chris called out and asked me to come into the lounge room. I walked out to find him on one knee, with Jackson holding a sign that read, "Will you marry our dad?" and our three-year-old standing proudly beside him. I burst into happy tears as the room filled with smiles, more tears, and pure joy. We ran our parents and siblings, then spent the rest of Christmas surprising our family and friends. It was, without a doubt, the best Christmas Day ever.
