WEDDING CELEBRATIONS: ALLYCILLE & JORDAN

Allycille and Jordan’s love story began in middle school, blossomed in high school, and has spanned an incredible eight years. Their bond, rooted in years of shared memories and milestones, culminated in a beautiful wedding celebration on July 13, 2024, at the stunning Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory in Darwin. TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

I (Allycille) have been following the Instagram place for a while and knew that you guys were able to execute my custom piece. Jewellery is very precious to me and Jordan and I discussed that our engagement wouldn’t be an entire surprise; we’d go through the whole process of discussing marriage and when we would both be ready, to design the perfect ring!

I always loved diamonds, I was born in April so I know my stone is diamond. But for our engagement ring, I wanted something different. I wanted something that was unique in a way. Red is my favourite colour and I’ve always been so interested in emerald-cut stones, so that is where the idea came from. And when I found out the CM could source stones to any cut, I knew this was exactly who I wanted to work with.

The ring itself is everything I imagined. A mixture of class and simplicity as well as bright and eccentric. I love that it’s mine, in a way where no one really has a similar ring. This was also something we were looking for in a wedding ring. Something no one else would have, and Jordan found that during our appointment! He noticed a particularly unique ring with a pattern that reminded us of the Disney movie Hercules (weird, we know!). Thus, the Hercules ring was chosen! We also wanted a matching ring and the Herculese ring also went so well with the engagement ring!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

Everything! The day was smooth sailing on my (Allycille) end, but I knew Jordan had a few hiccups! But of course, marrying my person was everything to me. 

ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

We did have special performances dedicated to each other which really got the crowd excited! But honestly, just sharing our love with the people who witnessed it throughout our lives, it was a really special moment.

ANY HONEYMOON PLANS?

We are planning to have a belated honeymoon in Jan 2025, and go to the Phillippines and enjoy our time with family.
