WEDDING CELEBRATIONS: TEAGAN & JAKE

Our beautiful clients Teagan and Jake first met in high school. On their 10 year anniversary, Jake proposed to Teagan with a stunning Marquise Diamond Engagement ring. Back in December 2022 they tied the knot at Lloyd Brother Wine and Olive Company in Mclaren Vale. Read more about their special day below.

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

Jake and I are high school sweethearts. We met when we were 16, in Year 10. Jake proposed on our 10 year anniversary in June 2021.

WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY.

We got married at Lloyd Brother Wine and Olive Company, Mclaren Vale on the 10th of December 2022. We absolutely fell in love with this venue. Its crisp white interiors and stunning views were exactly what we were after. It was also perfect for our cocktail style wedding as it has a nice flow between indoors and outdoors. We would highly recommend Lloyd Brothers! We were lucky enough to enjoy a balmy night, perfect for our outside dance floor under the lights and stars. We also had some stunning sunset photos taken at Gulls rock.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

My dream was to have a Marquise diamond engagement ring! I have always loved the shape and Jake did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Jake had gone to Cassandra Mamone to find my perfect ring. I couldn't believe he had gone to Cassandra without me knowing! Such a lucky girl. We then decided to go back to find the perfect wedding band to match. Adele was also so thoughtful when helping us with Jake's dad wedding band, getting it resized and polished. This was so important to us as Jake's dad sadly passed away not long after our engagement.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

Sharing our vows and of course, the dance floor! It was honestly the perfect night.

ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

My dress. I really struggled to find 'the dress' and after wedding dress shopping I went home and drew a picture of exactly what I wanted. Caleche Bridal then brought it to life! Also, us girls got ready at Salt Bush Beach house, Aldinga Beach. This place is so beautiful!
