WEDDING FEATURE: GRACE & DYLAN

Lovebirds Grace and Dylan met when they were just 12 years old. Fast forward eight years later, they reconnected and the rest is history. In 2021, Dylan proposed to Grace with a stunning Marquise diamond engagement ring set in 18ct rose gold. We had the honour of designing both of their unique wedding rings as well. Grace and Dylan celebrated their big day back in April at Grace's family farm picturesque Flaxman Valley. They both share their magical day below.

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

Dylan and I met when we were 12 on a state hockey trip. 8 year later we saw each other at the croquet club and started dating. The rest as they say was history.

WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY?

We got married on Grace's Family Farm in Flaxman Valley. It was so special to get married at home, and truly was the most magical day.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

We had the best experience getting our rings made with Cassandra. There was such a quick turnaround with my engagement ring as Dylan was hoping to surprise me on a last minute holiday. Both of our wedding bands are beautiful. We adore how unique and personal they are.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

Such a hard question! Above everything, marrying each other (our best friend) was the best part. If we had to choose a second it would be our first dance mash up! So fun!

ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

Having all of our family and friends (some who travelled from overseas) with us to celebrate.

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR HONEYMOON?

We went to Port Douglas. Such beautiful warm weather. It's hard to come back to reality!
