WEDDING FEATURE: KATE & NICK

Kate and Nick first met each other at work and both hit it off almost immediately. Last February, Nick proposed to Kate with a stunning white gold round solitaire ring. Almost a year later, the lovebirds got married at the beautiful Waverley Estate with family and closest friends. We asked Kate and Nick to reminisce on their wedding day and share with us all of the details. 

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

We met at work and both of us hit it off straight away. 

WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY?

We were married on Saturday, 19 February 2022 at Waverley Estate. Our day was amazing! It was the perfect weather with all of our family and closest friends. It was fun and there was never a dull moment, from my nephew Oliver walking down the aisle to my god father being the flower man and our dogs Willow and Murphy being the flower girl and the ring bearer. We couldn't have asked for a better day, there is nothing I would change. 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

I am fussy and each ring was designed for me. The process was so easy with Veronica who was always so lovely. I love the simplicity of our rings. 

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

Everything was perfect, but I think the ceremony would have to be the favourite due to the fun and upbeat atmosphere that Courtney from Wild Love Stories organised. It was short and sweet but funny and a whole lot of fun. 

ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

Have a flower man you won't regret it! 

WHERE ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING FOR YOUR HONEYMOON?

We are currently on the Gold Coast for our honeymoon.
