WEDDING FEATURE: LUCIA + HAYDEN
WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED? TELL US ABOUT YOUR DAY!
We got married on the 5th June, 2021 at Dimchurch Vineyards in Ebenezer SA, surrounded by our family and closest friends. It was freezing cold, so windy and it even rained at one point, but it was perfect and we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECES?
We both loved the process of designing our wedding bands and Hayden loved customising my Vino Engagement Ring. It was so simple and easy, and both Kassie and Veronica helped us design the rings to perfectly suit us as individuals. It was also amazing that we were able to get a hinge ring made for Hayden to work with his fingers, as he has large knuckles thanks to footy!
"Our favourite part of the day was our ‘first look’. Being able to see each other calmed me down and really made the day feel real."
Any particular highlights?
We’re particularly proud of our entrance dance. I (Lucia) did not want to do any dances at all, but Hayden convinced me it would be funny and he was right, as usual. We also loved having our dogs Chester and Berkeley there to be apart of such a special day for our family.
Where do you plan on going for your honeymoon?
We had planned to go to Port Douglas in July but that couldn't go ahead, so we will hopefully be going there in October to get some much needed relaxation in and quality time together. Hopefully it’ll be sunny and warm there!
