Born in July? You'll love this Ruby Ring

There comes a time in a woman's life when she should invest in a piece of jewellery. From diamond earrings to the perfect pendant, any of these luxurious pieces will stand the test of time.

For years we've had the pleasure of designing pieces for women to gift to themselves. Whether it be to celebrate new successes or a meaningful relationship.

Our client, Vanessa from Pretty Little Things Beauty wanted to create something special for her first Cassandra Mamone piece.

Having seen one of Cassandra's recent ring designs incorporating rubies (Cassandra's July Birthstone) with diamonds - Vanessa connected with it - as her birthstone is also ruby.

Here, Vanessa gives us a look at her custom eternity ring and what inspired her to invest in this piece.

 

 

What drew you to Cassandra Mamone's pieces?

Cassandra Mamone is a leading fine jewellery designer in my hometown of Adelaide and I knew she had to create my own personal jewellery piece.

Cassandra's jewels are unique yet timeless and the craftsmanship behind all of her personal pieces reflect how she truly understands her customers.

When you purchase a piece from Cassandra it truly is an inspiring experience. From concept to creation, she sources the finest materials to create a piece that's truly your own!

  

Tell us all about the details of your ring, what was the process like for you, what are your favourite aspects of the piece? 

I chose a 9ct rose gold ring - top set with ten stones alternating both ruby and diamonds.

Cassandra allowed me to be involved in the process of the ring from start to finish. Together we created a piece which encapsulated a traditional design with a unique aesthetic.

Starting with a diamond and ending with a ruby, each stone casts the light playfully and radiates its rarity.

I absolutely adore this piece Cassandra has created. I can't pinpoint my favourite aspect; I love the ring in its entirety.

The ring is a timeless and luxurious piece which I hope to share and carry down in my family for years to come.

 

 

 

 

What does this piece mean to you? 

I am a true Cancerian. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe in working hard and I always trust my self-intuition.

I wanted a piece that I truly identified with. Creating a ring which emulated my July birthstone - a Ruby - was a perfect idea.

I've also been told (by my grandmother) that rubies bring love, success and prosperity - so the symbolism behind this gemstone is just perfect!

 

How many CM pieces do you currently have? 

I currently have one beautiful piece and I look forward to creating more Cassandra Mamone celebratory pieces in the future.
