Our clients Caitlin and Claudio initially met in high school and started dating back in year 11. They have been together ever since! Caitlin had dropped multiple hints to Claudio that she loved our Morganite Oval elegance ring. Claudio came into our Adelaide studio and chose a gorgeous pink-toned stone to create Caitlin's forever ring. Back in August of 2022, Claudio popped the question on their holiday in Thailand. HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?
We met during high school, we were friends for a really long time and started dating in 2012 when we were both in year 11, it was a classic high school romance and we have been together ever since.
WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE?
CAITLIN: I came across Cassandra Mamone on Instagram a while ago and was instantly drawn to her stunning designs and beautiful stones. I knew that I didn't want a diamond engagement ring and when I saw the morganite pieces I instantly knew that I had found my ring. Of course, I sent multiple links to Claudio so he knew when the time came that Cassandra Mamone was the place to go!

In August of this year, we flew to Thailand for a very memorable holiday! Not only was it our first holiday since Covid but it was also our ten-year anniversary. We landed in Bangkok and on the second day after a wonderful day of sight seeing, we found a beautiful park to have an afternoon stroll. Claudio found a quiet bench, got down on one knee and popped the question! We celebrated with a drink at Vertigo, a rooftop bar with a stunning view, followed by a 10-course degustation at Haoma. It was the perfect proposal and celebration for us to bring in a new chapter of our lives!
TELL US ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR RING, WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU, AND WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE.
CLAUDIO: The process was fantastic and very personalised, with Kalyca guiding me along the way and helping me choose the perfect ring that I knew Caitlin would love. There were so many choices and details that go into choosing and creating the perfect ring. They made sure I was kept up to date on the process and ensured that it was ready before we left for our trip. I absolutely could not have done it without the help of the Cassandra Mamone team, I have nothing but kind words to say about them all!
It's hard to say just one favourite aspect of the ring, it is a stunning piece all around. The stone itself is the most beautiful tone of pink and works so well with the rose gold band. As the stone itself is already such an eye-catcher we both love how elegant and delicate the band is. It's just the most romantic and dreamy ring I've ever seen! We can't wait to come back in for our wedding bands!

DO YOU HAVE ANY WEDDING PLANS YET?
Yes, We have just locked in our date this week which is very exciting! We have booked for late November 2024 at Lloyd Brothers in Mclaren Vale! We are so excited to celebrate the day with your family and friends and have a big night of eating, drinking and most importantly dancing!
