ENGAGEMENT FEATURE: EMILY & DANE

Our beautiful clients, Emily and Dane first met through Emily's colleague from her previous job. After seeing each other at mutual events with friends, they were inseparable. Dane had booked in to see Cassandra and create the perfect ring for Emily. Emily had hinted to Dane the Amore ring was her favourite. In November, Dane booked a romantic weekend away on Kangaroo Island and as the sun set Dane got down on one knee and proposed to Emily. HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

We both met through a colleague Emily worked with in her previous job. It happened to be that her partner is Dane's best friend! Through this we would see each other at mutual events with friends. Not long after that we were inseparable. 

WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE?

Emily always had her eye on Cassandra Mamone jewellery pieces. It was always her dream to have her very own piece one day. Emily would always hint her favourite rings, always being a Cassandra Mamone piece. Emily took a liking to CM rings as they are handcrafted by the CM team. Emily would always hint the beautiful Amore ring.

Dane had contacted Cassandra Mamone to start the design process, with only 1 meeting with the team, a deposit was made and the ring would arrive in 6 weeks...

Dane booked s spontaneous long weekend away in beautiful Kangaroo Island, the first weekend in November. We stayed at Topdeck, Snelling Beach - an absolute beautiful location looking over the hills and beach. First night of our stay we prepared a home cooked meal, and enjoyed a drink on the balcony over looking the sunset. As the sun set, Dane got down on one knee and popped the question to Emily. As we look back we wouldn't change a thing - it was "so us".

TELL US ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR RING, WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

Dane: Absolutely amazing experience with the team in Adelaide. I was made to feel welcome and heard throughout the whole experience. I knew as soon as I saw the finished product that it was the perfect piece for Emily. It wouldn't be the full experience if I didn't meet with Cassandra Mamone herself. The 'Amore' ring meaning "love" is our perfect piece. She is SHINY! a beautiful oval diamond, surrounded by a diamond band. I always seem to catch myself looking at how shiny it is. We are looking forward to getting our wedding bands through Cassandra Mamone. 

DO YOU HAVE ANY WEDDING PLANS YET?

We are planning for the wedding to be in 2023! We are building our dream home and wish to be husband and wife as we move into our home and start a family.
