Our beautiful clients, Danielle and Michael got engaged last year. They came to us to look for a forever piece for Danielle.
Cassandra designed Danielle's custom engagement ring with a stunning 18ct yellow gold pink morganite centre set in a tulip basket setting.
We caught up with Danielle as she shares with us all about her ring and her sweet proposal.
How did you both meet?
We met on a night out in town through a mutual friend but never ended up speaking after that. A year later we reconnected and went on a date.
We ended up catching up two or three more times the following week and were head over heels for each other.
What drew you to Cassandra Mamone for the design of your engagement piece?
I knew exactly what I wanted my ring to look like and did my research on jewellers in Adelaide who did bespoke jewellery.
I saw that Cassandra Mamone had made morganite rings before and thought they looked amazing.
Share with us your engagement ring story.
We went for a stroll in the Botanic Gardens.
We were in the rose garden and I was admiring the beautiful roses and when I turned around Michael took my hand and got down on one knee and popped the question!
Tell us all about the details of your ring, what was the process like for you, what are your favourite aspects of the piece?
My ring has a tulip style setting and a 2.45ct pink morganite. The process of the ring design was really easy.
My partner and I had a design consultation with Veronica. I shared some ideas and images with her on what I wanted the ring to look.
After the consult, Veronica then liaised with Michael on the making of the ring as he wanted to surprise me.
Michael said the process was really easy and quick. Veronica was amazing to work with and captured my vision perfectly!

Do you have any wedding plans yet?
We are planning to get married towards the end of 2021.
We are currently just looking at venues.
