Wedding Celebrations: Nicole & Mitch

Wedding Celebrations: Nicole & Mitch

After being engaged for a year, Nicole and Mitch recently tied the knot on 21st February 2020. It was dreamy and romantic and we can't take our eyes off the gorgeous pictures. Cassandra designed an 18ct yellow gold set for Nicole. Her wedding band features brilliant diamonds set in a scalloped style single bead setting. For him, Mitch opted for a titanium band with a brushed finish. We were lucky to create not only their wedding bands but also Nicole's (surprise) Pearl bracelet. Mitch worked with Cassandra to surprise Nicole with a gift on the morning of the wedding. Cassandra created the stunning Pearl Baroque bracelet that matched Nicole's wedding dress perfectly.

WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY?

We were married on Friday, 21st February 2020 at the beautiful Lloyd Brothers in Mclaren Vale. The day was absolutely perfect 23 and cloudy (a little windy), it was everything we had ever dreamed of. Our ceremony was short and sweet, exactly how we imagined it and we were surrounded by our loved ones. We couldn't have asked for a better day to start the rest of our lives together.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT/WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

Mitch proposed to me in December 2018, the ring was everything I wanted (and had hinted to him). We started looking at wedding bands and unfortunately, we hit a small bump with the setting of my engagement ring. I really wanted my wedding band to sit flush with my engagement ring, however, due to the way the claw was set my only option was a band that had a curve in it.

I started looking at my options and obviously, Cass was the first person who came to mind. We set up a meeting and started chatting through options.

The process was so easy, Cass asked me how I imagined my ring and immediately I knew it was the Oval Elegance, the setting of this ring is my favourite aspect. It sits so high and the side profile is just gorgeous.

My original ring had a knife-edge band and that was an aspect I absolutely adored so we included that in the new design. The last decision was metal.

My original ring was 18ct white gold, which I absolutely loved and it was all I ever wanted, however after trying on a few of Cassandra's designs I started leaning more toward yellow gold.

After a little deliberation and making sure Mitch was absolutely okay with the changes I decided to change to yellow gold and honestly it was the best decision I made. The next step was wedding bands, which again was an easy process. First was Mitch's band, we decided on a brushed titanium centre with polished bevelled edges.

My band was next, I had an idea of the style I wanted and Cass brought it to life. We absolutely adore our rings and couldn't recommend Cass and the team more.

WHAT WAS YOU FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY? ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?

The entire day! Highlights would be the love we felt, not only between us but from our family and friends.

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR HONEYMOON?

We headed to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia after the wedding for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
