Engagement Feature: Elijah & Antonetta

Meet this month's featured couple, Elijah and Antonetta.

Their love story began 5 years ago while they were both at University.

Fast forward to September, Elijah got down on one knee and proposed to Antonetta with a Perlina Engagement Ring.

We had the pleasure of designing a custom Perlina Ring with an Oval diamond in 18ct rose gold.

We caught up with Elijah on how he proposed and finding the perfect engagement ring for Antonetta.

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET? 

Antonetta and I met through a mutual friend at university while both were studying for our teaching degrees.

 

WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE? 

Many hints from Antonetta!

We had been together for just over five years when she subtly started sending me pictures of possible designs she liked.

I thought it was the right time and booked an appointment!

Once the ring was ready, I proposed on Sunday 1st September 2019.

The following weekend was her birthday so I wanted to catch her off-guard the weekend before.

I insisted on going over her house to take her dog for a walk so I was hoping she didn't expect anything.

We were at a local walking trail where I pretended that I saw something stuck on her dog's paw, I then got down on one knee and pulled out the ring! 

 

 

 

TELL US ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR RING, WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE? 

I booked an appointment online with Veronica and went in with my sister to get her opinion.

After showing Veronica some of the designs that Antonetta had liked, we put together a ring I knew she would love.

I decided on the rose gold Perlina twist band with an Oval diamond. 

 

DO YOU HAVE ANY WEDDING PLANS YET?

We are thinking of May 2021!
