Engagement Feature: Paige & Cameron
From meeting in Bali for the first time and a chance encounter in Croatia, it was no surprise that Paige and Cameron would be getting engaged in a tropical paradise.
Cameron had scheduled a phone call appointment with Cassandra Mamone and said that he needed to propose with the Tres Pedras ring.
The whole process was done via phone and email and we designed a unique three stone engagement ring in two-tone rose and white gold.
Two weeks ago while on holiday in Hawaii, Cameron got down on one knee and proposed to Paige with the stunning ring and she said YES. (Obviously!)
We caught up with Paige and Cameron to look back at the surprise proposal and put the spotlight on the sparkly three-stone engagement ring.
How did you both meet?
Paige and I first met in 2013 in Bali through mutual friends.
We got together a year later after bumping into each other in a bar in Croatia!
Share with us your engagement story.
We were on holiday in Hawaii - we had both been wanting to do 'The Stairway to Heaven' hiking trail.
My original plan was to propose up the top of the hike but there was so much cloud cover and fog that it wasn't a very exciting view.
I waited until we were on the way down and were just beneath the clouds.
We stopped to take photos and instead of pulling the camera out of my bag I pulled out the ring.
We were lucky there were some fellow hikers who were able to capture some photos for us afterwards!

What drew you to Cassandra Mamone for the design of your engagement piece?
Paige always said she wanted a unique engagement ring and has sent me many subtle hints (screenshots) over the years.
A friend told me about Cassandra Mamone and after checking out Instagram photos of her work I knew it would be in Paige's taste.
I also like to support local so I was happy to work with someone who lived in Adelaide.
Tell us all about the details of your ring, what was the process like for you, what are your favourite aspects of the piece?
I found Cassandra Mamone on Instagram - I contacted her via phone and we had a consultation to discuss what I had in mind.
Cassandra was able to help guide me during the process which was really helpful and I decided on two-tone rose gold and white gold band with 3 stones.
The process was made so easy by the help of Cassandra and I can't thank her enough for her help.
Do you have any wedding plans yet?
No wedding plans as yet but we have always wanted a destination wedding! We are aiming for early 2021.
