Chloe and Dylan had scheduled an appointment with our design consultant at our Adelaide studio to bring Chloe's dream engagement ring to life. It was an honour to craft a breathtaking Oval Cut Morganite ring set in a double diamond halo. Read more on their love story below...
HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?
When I was working in Orroroo as a Nanny I had just downloaded Tinder. Dylan was driving past for work and was swiping on Tinder. Lucky I was one of the girls he swiped right on. After that we went on our first date to Clare. We were both so nervous but felt connected straight away.
WHAT DREW YOU TO CASSANDRA MAMONE FOR THE DESIGN OF YOUR ENGAGEMENT PIECE?
I have been following the Cassandra Mamone page for a while and I have enjoyed looking at all the different and unique designs. One day I was on Instagram and I saw an engagement story which talked about how helpful the staff at Cassandra Mamone were and it made me want the same experience.

Dylan and I had been talking about marriage for a little while but I had explained I really wanted us as as a couple to design the ring. Once the ring design was complete I was kept in the dark and left Dylan up to the surprise proposal.
We had booked a weekend away in Wallaroo which is one of our favourite places to go on holiday as we live in the desert. Dylan organised the accomodation as I normally pick the cheaper side of things so Dylan decided he would take over this time. He had planned the whole thing which was lovely.
The day of the proposal we went out for brunch and relaxed at our Air Bnb that we had booked. Dylan went our the front as our Air Bnb had beach front access. I followed with my Take-5 magazine. We sat on the beach watching the sunset and enjoying each other's company. As the sun was setting I turned around and saw Dylan holding the ring asking me to marry him.
TELL US ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS OF YOUR RING, WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU, AND WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE.
The process was amazing. We went in there with two designs I really liked and I explained what I wanted. We both felt relaxed and heard when explaining what we were looking for. I LOVE the pink morganite stone - I picked the darkest pink so it could be seen in with different textures in the light.
DO YOU HAVE ANY WEDDING PLANS YET?
Yes we are having a small wedding sometime this year.
