WEDDING CELEBRATIONS: EMMA & MATT
Matt popped the question to Emma in 2022, with our Oval Elegance ring in white gold. Fast forward two years, and they exchanged vows at Sacred Heart Chapel, Adelaide and had their reception at the stunning Sunnybrae Estate. We crafted their wedding bands – Matt's in a brushed style and Emma's in our Single Bead Eternity Band. Read more about their special day...
HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?
We met through our mutual friend, Lisa (I used to work with Lisa and Matt is good friends with her husband, Scott. He was one of our groomsmen in our wedding). She wanted to set us up before her wedding and we met at their wedding in 2021.
WHERE & WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY.
Our wedding was on Saturday 6 April 2024. The ceremony was at Sacred Heart Chapel which was sentimental as Matt went to school at Sacred Heart. We then celebrated our reception at Sunnybrae Estate. The whole day was beautiful and very special! We wish we could do it all over again!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?
Our rings are simple but very elegant. We had Adele on both occasions and she was very easy and lovely to work with during the whole process. She took into account our preferences and was prompt with her communication and made the experience seamless.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?
Being together and celebrating this blessing with our family and friends. Our flower girl, Elsie, and page boy, Nathaniel, were our niece and nephew and they were so excited and happy to share this with us- it will always be a sacred memory for the family.
ANY PARTICULAR HIGHLIGHTS?
Seeing each other for the first time at the church and our first dance together (we were taught by Matt's next door neighbours who are professional dancers, the experience was so fun and memorable).
ANY HONEYMOON PLANS?
We went to New Zealand for two weeks shortly after the wedding.
