Like a lot of modern day romances we actually originally connected through a dating app, we never really spoke but knew of each other, a few months after that we bumped into each other out one night. We went out for our first date a few months after that and the rest is history!
We got married at Lapito House in Myponga on the 23.03.2024. I had always had this venue locked away in my head after doing hair for a wedding party there back in 2018. We came to the decision of having an extremely intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. We had a total on 27 guests (including us). Our day was so incredibly special, we are both not the most overly romantic people in public and never wanted a super formal wedding but it was so beautiful being able to share our personal vows in front of everyone and be able to celebrate with our nearest and dearest.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?
Mark always knew my obsession with Cassandra Mamone rings and for a pear shaped diamond. I will always cherish my engagement ring, it is simply stunning!
We both decided to go with memory bands for our wedding bands, It is so special having our wedding date engraved on the outside to always be reminded of such a special day.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?
Its so hard to choose one part of the day! The entire day was just pure magic, from having our nearest and dearest celebrate with us, to all the delicious food, to all the beautiful speeches! It's a day we will never forget!
ANY HONEYMOON PLANS?
We spent a few nights at the Lenswood Pavilions after the wedding, eating yummy food and relaxing! But we also have plans to go overseas at christmas time. Where we will go, that's still undecided!
