WEDDING CELEBRATIONS: BRITTANY & ANASTASIA

We first featured Brittany and Anastasia's engagement back in 2021. A year and a half later, they tied the knot on a beautiful summer's day. Brittany and Anastasia walk us down memory lane back to their big day. Read more below...

HOW DID YOU BOTH MEET?

We both met in the Royal Australian Navy, where we were both posted to the same ship. It was a ships sports day, and I asked Britt to play a netball game with us!

WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU GET MARRIED - TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL DAY.

We got married on 7^th Jan 2023 at Woodburn Homestead, Langhorne Creek.

It was an absolutely beautiful day, but we could not have chosen the hottest day ever! It was 38 degrees, with the hottest part of our day being the ceremony! But we got through it, everything went perfectly and was better than we could have ever imagined.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS. WHAT WAS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF THE PIECE?

We chose our engagement rings together in the Melbourne store! Not knowing anything about rings, the team made it so easy for us and gave us plenty of options before cementing our design. Our engagement rings are beyond beautiful, and we would not change a single thing about them.

We moved to Adelaide when it was time to choose our wedding bands, so we booked in to see Cassandra Mamone herself. She is lovely! Cassandra gave us so many different options, well within our price range and we also love love love our wedding bands.

Both times we went into the store, we had different visions in mind, yet ended up leaving the store with something completely different. Brittany and I both chose the exact same rings with different colours etc.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE WEDDING DAY?

Our favourite part of the wedding day was definitely the ceremony and seeing each other at the end of that aisle. Having our beautiful celebrant (Alix the Celebrant), relive our love story was beyond beautiful.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HONEYMOON PLANS?

As I am reaching my third trimester of pregnancy, we have decided to delay our honeymoon until the end of the year. But we plan to go somewhere hot, with plenty of refreshments and massages! Somewhere we can totally relax after our hectic year of being married and becoming parents!
